Satori Suggests: Heart Rock Sushiby admin |
|
Since opening in 1993, Heart Rock Sushi has gained a loyal following of regulars who dine after an afternoon of shopping at the Galleria Mall, or visit for a relaxed lunch during the workday. Moderate prices lend to this restaurant's popularity, as does a thorough menu which combines traditional Asian fare with special flares. One such flare is Ika Sugata Yaki, a whole grilled calamari in grated ginger and ponzu sauce from the "Yakitori" skewered meats section. Don't worry, Heart Rock's congenial staff will be happy help you select the choices to satisfy your appetite.
Heart Rock Sushi serves a combination of new and classic sushi and Thai dishes for lunch and dinner. For a light meal, try the Blue River Roll, which was lauded as "Best Sushi Roll" by Boca Raton magazine in 2007. It's composed of Eel, shrimp tempura, cream cheese and smelt roe inside out with avocado and sesame seeds ($10.95). The best dinner value is the Special Dinner Box, where you can select from a menu of rolls from three different categories to be served with soup, spring roll and hijiki for $22.95. But if you're dining with a group of connoisseurs, Heart Rock Boats can be ordered with an assortment of your favorite sushi, sashimi and rolls (pricing per guest). Rice, noodle and curry dishes are also available for non-seafood diets. To round out your meal, Heart Rock Sushi offers a complete wine and sake list, as well as desserts such as tempura cheesecake and green tea ice cream.
