So Much to Do, So Little Time

by admin
Many people rent an apartment in South Florida to enjoy the relaxing lifestyle and outdoor activities. In particular, Satori tenants are seeking a Zen lifestyle with meditative qualities that help keep their life balanced and reduce stress. But where does one find the time to unwind and pursue a recreational lifestyle between family and work?

Luckily, Satori amenities give residents a wealth of options from which to choose just steps away from their house. A quick visit to the sauna or an hour of reading by the reflecting pool in the Zen garden gives you the chance to get away for a little while, even in the midst of your busy schedule. Here are just a few of the many recreational options available at the Satori apartment rental community:

- Bark Park
- Zen Meditation Garden
- Infinity Pool with Waterfall
- Hot Tub
- Poolside Cabanas
- Shops in the Urban Village

And that's not to mention The Club, a fully equipped clubhouse containing a fitness center, spa, cyber café, juice bar and entertainment center. At the Satori clubhouse, residents can join classes for yoga or pilates, indulge in facials along with a soothing massage, or simply sit back and steam away the day's stress in the gym's saunas. Wine tastings, cooking lessons and culinary performances take place regularly at the exclusive Gourmet Kitchen. The Club is the cornerstone of Satori, where tenants come to meet and mingle, or simply escape from the real world.

With just a few moments extra to spare, Satori lessees can always cross the street to visit Holiday Park's many sports-themed amenities, from a jogging trail to baseball, kickball, racquetball and tennis courts as well as fitness stations, soccer and football fields. Or, head up the street to swim, sunbathe, surf and build sand castles; after all, that's the boon of renting an apartment by the beach.

No matter how hectic your schedule, the Satori apartment rental community provides plenty of ways to take a break and reward your hard work-and it's all right in your own backyard. Before you become overwhelmed by a too-busy schedule, you'll find that Satori's many relaxing amenities are always there in the nick of time.

Satori Suggests: Heart Rock Sushi

by admin
Love sushi? Looking for a great place to grab your favorite Japanese dishes close to your new Satori rental apartment? Then Heart Rock Sushi is the place for you. Just two minutes east of the Satori apartment rental community on Sunrise Boulevard, discover the fun and friendly sushi restaurant that was recognized as "Best Sushi in Fort Lauderdale" by City Link magazine.

Since opening in 1993, Heart Rock Sushi has gained a loyal following of regulars who dine after an afternoon of shopping at the Galleria Mall, or visit for a relaxed lunch during the workday. Moderate prices lend to this restaurant's popularity, as does a thorough menu which combines traditional Asian fare with special flares. One such flare is Ika Sugata Yaki, a whole grilled calamari in grated ginger and ponzu sauce from the "Yakitori" skewered meats section. Don't worry, Heart Rock's congenial staff will be happy help you select the choices to satisfy your appetite.

Heart Rock Sushi serves a combination of new and classic sushi and Thai dishes for lunch and dinner. For a light meal, try the Blue River Roll, which was lauded as "Best Sushi Roll" by Boca Raton magazine in 2007. It's composed of Eel, shrimp tempura, cream cheese and smelt roe inside out with avocado and sesame seeds ($10.95). The best dinner value is the Special Dinner Box, where you can select from a menu of rolls from three different categories to be served with soup, spring roll and hijiki for $22.95. But if you're dining with a group of connoisseurs, Heart Rock Boats can be ordered with an assortment of your favorite sushi, sashimi and rolls (pricing per guest). Rice, noodle and curry dishes are also available for non-seafood diets. To round out your meal, Heart Rock Sushi offers a complete wine and sake list, as well as desserts such as tempura cheesecake and green tea ice cream.
