UNIQUE MARKETING STRATEGY INTRODUCES SATORI TO THE COMMUNITY

Luxury Rental Development Attracts Attention in Ft. Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, FL (February 26, 2009) - Rickshaws, a familiar method of transportation in numerous Asian countries, are very popular in Ft. Lauderdale and therefore became an integral part of the unique marketing strategy of Satori, Ft. Lauderdale's newest luxury rental community. Meaning "awakening" in Japanese, Satori offers residents a zen-like, tranquil setting amidst an urban village and the rickshaw marketing effort exemplifies that theme.

Also known as pedi-cabs, the vehicles have a full wrap of Satori graphics and are a constant presence at popular destinations including Las Olas Boulevard, Ft. Lauderdale Beach and a variety of special events. Drivers of the cabs wear bright green shirts emblazoned with the Satori logo, hand out informational literature and are able to answer basic questions about the property.

"Our marketing strategy accentuates the Satori lifestyle while communicating it with our target demographic groups," said Cathy Cabell, Vice President of Property Management at Altman Management Company. "Our presence in the community is bold and our marketing efforts are meant to be noticed. Satori is the perfect option for those who are looking for a luxurious lifestyle in a rental community."

The rickshaws are just one of Satori's out-of-the-box marketing efforts. All brochures, ads and billboards include a short code for text messaging along with a trigger word, such as zen, used to track the medium the prospect viewed. Many of these campaigns include concierge text messaging allowing responders a multiple choice answer, which prompts customized responses back to them based on their interests. The goal is to create a stronger relationship with the potential renter through this interactive communication.

Often these trigger words coincide with events sponsored by Satori such as the Cranberry Jam for Young Professionals of Covenant House, the Museum of Discover and Science Climate Change Exhibit, the Riverwalk Trust, the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of South Florida's Founders Circle and PrideFest South Florida. The sponsorship choices are directed at prospective tenants including the eco-friendly, professionals, alternate lifestyle proponents and downtown Ft. Lauderdale residents.

More conventional marketing efforts include using the actual Satori construction site, which is wrapped entirely with frame after frame of images and key messages and topped with a giant hanging banner. Print media is targeted toward niche publications including Playbill at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and newsletters distributed in local neighborhoods near Satori.

Satori's interactive website features the latest 2.0 web format and incorporates many of the components of the state-of-the-art Touch Screen system featured at the leasing center. Additionally, live updates from the Altman Companies' rental software keeps pricing and unit availability accurate and the Satori Living blog on the website is updated biweekly with information on the latest Satori happenings, local Fort Lauderdale events of interest, and restaurant reviews. Extensive SEO and pay-per-click campaigns are underway and a new social networking effort will be launched shortly.

Developed by the Altman Companies, Satori is a 279-unit luxury rental community at 1201 E. Sunrise Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale. Centrally located on 5.7 acres, Satori is a lushly landscaped, mixed-use, pet-friendly community comprised of four buildings ranging from five to nine stories. Exciting public spaces include a dramatic 8,000 square-foot two-story clubhouse and a sumptuous pool terrace reminiscent of a high-end resort with a heated infinity-edge pool, whirlpool spa, waterfall cascade, and cabanas. Satori's convenient eServices include on-line move-in scheduling, utilities connection, maintenance requests, rental payments and community information.

"Green" is another very important feature at Satori. Altman has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in an extensive list of eco-friendly features such as a chlorine-free pool, solar power assisted common area lighting, zero VOC-emitting carpet and paints, high-efficiency air conditioning, programmable thermostats, energy-efficient stainless steel appliances, and front loading washers and dryers. These features leave a smaller carbon footprint and residents save money on energy costs, as well.

Unit customization, usually offered only in new construction of upscale homes, is an option for early leasing residents at Satori. Indeed, it is the first rental community in Florida to offer residents true customization with choices including granite, flooring and paint from styles chosen by interior designer Steven G.

Leasing is underway at the leasing center, located at the southeast corner of Sunrise Blvd. and Bayview Drive at street level next to Neiman Marcus at the Galleria Mall at 2404 E. Sunrise Boulevard.

Conveniently located close to downtown, area beaches and directly across from Holiday Park with wonderful tennis courts, jogging trails and sports fields, Satori offers the best of the urban lifestyle with all the amenities of gracious living.
